Hotel Allalin

The hotel is located towards the top end of Zermatt, by the river which flows through the centre of the village. Just opposite is Zermatt's pretty little graveyard and churchThe newly renovated rooms vary a lot in style due to the age of the building, but most are small to medium in size. They are all decorated in rustic Swiss style with carved wood ceilings giving them a lovely cosy feel. Many rooms have views of the Matterhorn. Both the rooms and the beautiful, fully tiled bathrooms are now in exceptional conditionThe breakfast room is located on the lower ground floor. Like the rest of the hotel it is cosy and rustic in styleThe hotel is very traditional in style, constructed of light wood with intricate carving and colourful flower boxesThe lobby area itself is very small, but there is a large seating area adjoining it.
