Hotel Laokasti (Studio)

This hotel complex is situated in the beautiful settlement of Oia (Ia) in northern Santorini. It is at the entrance to the village and sits back from the road that leads in to Oia. The property overlooks the Eastern Aegean sea. This area is linked to the rest of the island by the local bus service. The nearest bus stop is outside the hotel. Santorini airport, port and Fira town are 15km (approximately 20 minutes) from the hotel. The nearest beach is 2km away. Unlike most properties in this area, this one boasts a car park.The apartments are traditionally decorated, spacious and well equipped. The apartments are separated into two areas, a double bedroom and a living room/kitchen that also has an extra bed that can accommodate 2 additional persons. Facilities include: air-conditioning, a hair dryer, a fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge and all the necessary utensils, a mini bar, a satellite TV, a telephone, a safe deposit box, internet access (upon request) and a veranda with a marvelous view of the East Aegean Sea and Ios Island.The restaurant is at the front of the hotel, set slightly back from the road that runs in to Oia. It is traditionally decorated and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. An excellent selection of both Greek (including traditional Santorini dishes) and international cuisine is available. There is also both a pool bar and an indoor bar.A traditional style white stone washed low rise property spread over a couple of levels with a swimming pool over looking the East Aegean.The lobby is situated behind the restaurant and is medium in size with a traditional decor and a seating area.This a great property for it's category with good facilities. © GTA 2009
