This bed and breakfast is located on the same roundabout as the Triumphal Arch of Orange, a Roman monument that dates back at least to the time of the Severan dynasty. It¿s a 10 minute walk from the centre of the town of Orange and the ancient Roman amphitheatre called the Théâtre antique d'Orange (Ancient Theatre of Orange). Built early in the 1st century AD, the theatre is today the home of the summer opera festival called the Chorégies d'Orange. The Orange Museum displays the largest Roman cadastral maps ever found, which are etched on marble. Villa de l'Arc is approx. 1.5 km/0.9 mile from the Orange train station; the bed and breakfast can provide shuttle service to and from the train station or Marseille Provence Airport, subject to charges.
