The bright flat hosting the B&B is set in a tall building, on the 25th floor, in the 10th arrondissement (district) and it provides a convenient good value for money accommodation in central Paris very close to a very vibrant area along the Seine River. From the B&B you can take a pleasant stroll and reach Canal de l'Ourcq, which is over 100 km long, and it connects with Canal Saint-Martin into the Seine River. Canal Saint-Martin is a great area where to go out, walk around, eat in one of the classical French bistros and restaurants. If you love music you can also bring your guitar along to play and soothe your soul. There are two streets running parallel to the canal, Quai de Valmy and Quai de Jemmapes specially reserved for pedestrians and cyclists on Sundays, and ideal for renting a bike and seeing the city. You can also take boat canal tours. Within a walking distance from Achereau, in Parc de la Villette, in the 19th arrondissement, there is the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie (museum), the biggest science museum in Europe. Breakfast is usually served in the large and sunny kitchen, but it is also possible to have it in the bedroom. Guests can use the microwave in the kitchen, but cooking is not allowed. Half-board is available for those requiring it. Smoking is allowed in the kitchen and the balcony but not in the bedroom. It is possible to check in even after 11 p.m.
